As promised, here is a little update on Millie since she broke her leg.
It's been a week since her splint was replaced and she's starting to put a little weight on her leg when walking occasionally. Most of the time she's hopping along happily on three legs and I know she's starting to feel better as her attitude and her voice are back in full force! Toilet breaks are on lead and each time she has to wear a plastic cover to protect her bandages from getting wet. She also is confined to her crate at night when I cant watch her. So far so good. She is getting lots of tlc and treats to keep her busy. At the end of next week we will hopefully be able to get a comparison x ray to see how she is healing.
